I am researcher with a passion for science, mountains and landscape dynamics.
I am fascinated not only by how the Earth's systems interact and change over time, but also by how we represent those systems and how we quantify that change.

I am currently a PhD student at the University of Hohenheim, Germany, studying Bright Spots in Sustainable Agriculture. I am hoping to learn from positive examples of sustainable agriculture and to see whether those lessons can be applied in different contexts.
I previously worked at the LUGE lab at the University of British Columbia, Canada, as a data scientist and lab manager. I helped researchers consolidate, clean, wrangle and analyze data about global food systems and land use. I graduated with a Master's degree from the School of Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria, Canada, where I studied long-term landscape and biodiversity change as part of the Mountain Legacy Project.
